'Round the Water Bowl
Dogs must be at least 16 weeks of age. The very old and very young will be given extra rest if they appear to be getting run down.
Boarding dogs are required to come in for their evaluation day just like daycare dogs. We do not take boarding dogs that can’t play in daycare. Even if you never plan to use daycare regularly, this helps ease the dog into the boarding situation and allows us to determine if it is the right fit.
Boarding dogs must meet the same conditions as daycare dogs.
PLEASE, PLEASE drop your dog off in the morning. We do NOT allow afternoon drop offs. You get a day of daycare included in each night of boarding. When dropped off too late, the dog doesn’t have as good a night. They need to run around and play, get acclimated and go into their beds tired and ready to eat their dinner. Trying to introduce a new dog into the group at 4 p.m. is problematic as the pack hierarchy has been set and the “new dog” will be seen as an outsider.
We are closed from 12-2 p.m. for naptime.
Please bring your dog’s food in a container if possible. Wet food and additives are perfectly fine because we have a fridge.
NO real bones allowed. They can splinter and stab the dog in the mouth or perforate their stomach.
NO rawhide bones because they can become unraveled and be swallowed whole causing a huge choking hazard.
Compressed rawhide, Nylabones and other treats such as pigs ears, bully sticks, Flossie twists are acceptable.
Please bring your dog’s bed, blanket or towel that smells like home. It will allow him/her to feel more comfortable. Any stuffed animal, ball or rope toy is also fine.
